Initiation
To enable non-custodial trading and seamless on-chain settlement, you grant limited permissions (a delegation) to Temple’s operator when you begin trading. This delegation allows Temple to act on your behalf within strict boundaries.
Temple is authorized to:
Pre-sign your settlement requests, enabling your orders to settle on-chain automatically without requiring manual approval for each trade.
Merge and split your asset allocations, but only within the specific holdings you have designated for trading. This ensures the exact amounts needed for each on-chain settlement can be prepared efficiently.
You may revoke this delegation at any time through the Withdraw Delegation option in your account settings. Revoking the delegation will immediately:
Cancel all of your open orders.
Roll back any pending, unsettled trades.
Restrict your account to Emergency Withdraw only, which returns all trading balances to your wallet.
Deposits and Withdrawals
You can deposit to or withdraw from your Temple trading balances at any time.
Deposits initiated from third-party wallets may incur an additional gas fee charged by the third-party provider.
Executions
When your order is matched and settled on-chain, the proceeds are automatically returned directly to your connected wallet.
The newly obtained assets need to be deposited separately in order for them to be used for trading.
